Half Pint is a small, owner-operated homemade ice cream company based out of Seattle, Washington. Our ice creams are made fresh weekly with local dairy and eggs and other local ingredients when possible.

About the Owner

When Cle Franklin moved to Seattle five years ago, one of the first things she did was seek out a good homemade ice cream shop. Ice cream was very important to her having grown up in Boston with a delicious local joint just steps from her house. In fact, her first job as a teenager was at this very shop.

Unable to locate good homemade ice cream in the City of Seattle, Cle always had it in the back of her mind to just go ahead and make her own. Four and a half years later, she bought an ice cream maker and began learning how to make her favorite treat at home. After being accepted to local farmers markets and finding a commercial kitchen to operate out of, Half Pint Homemade Ice Cream was born.
